About This Collection
The Westminster Assembly was convened by the Long Parliament in 1643 and met at Westminster Abbey until 1653. The divines produced the Directory for Public Worship (1645), the Confession of Faith and Catechisms (1647–1648), and related documents that have shaped Presbyterian and Reformed churches for centuries.
